When a versioned document is shared, it is important that all members of the Workspace are able to follow its version history, e. g. to find the earlier version that is just prior to a critical modification. Thus, the author of a new version should make use of the 'Changes made in version ...' field of the 'Revise' form to describe the modifications that differentiate this version from the immediately preceding one.
