BSCW provides several event services that support different levels of awareness about the activities in your shared workspaces. You may select from this set of services the most suitable for your needs. Moreover you may specify for which types of events you want to use the selected services. The services include event icons on the web interface that indicate recent changes on artifacts, a daily workspace activity report that's delivered to you by email as well as immediate notification via email or by the special Monitor Java Applet.

Some of these features may be unavailable on your BSCW server, if they have not been activated by your BSCW administrator.
